If nobody gets a majority of the EV for President, the House picks from those receiving Presidential EV “not exceeding three on the list”. If nobody gets a majority of the EV for VP, the Senate picks from the top two finishers. Neither House can pick whomever it wants.
You suppose they'd go with Nader over McCain, right?
Then it'd have to be Biden for VP, I'll hazard.
