You better read my post 1,137, racial designation was different in Hawaii than in any other state of the union, as stated from what I posted at 1,137 from Vital Statistics. The father had no say in the matter of designation, Vital Statistics decided designation based on certain criteria.
There is not now nor has there ever been any proof that Ann Dunham and Sr lived together or that he was even at the birth of Jr. Her high school friends also stated that Ann never mentioned where Sr was when Jr was born!

Perhaps Stanley Ann Dunham selected the racial designation of the father!
