won't last. They had to get the prices down to get the people's attention off drill here, drill now and Obama's solution of tire gauges. I would hazard a guess they will be at record, record highs a year from now..

IMHO the high fuel prices had a huge affect on our economy last summer and hastened our slide into recession as well as the financial meltdown, and even the GM/Ford meltdown since SUV's were their bread and butter sales vehicle.

I concur completely. Once the sheeple saw gas prices going down, it took pressure off Congress/DEMONRATS to drill and gave McCain/Palin one less advantage for their campaign. We’d better enjoy these prices now, because Obama has no intention of making life comfortable for us peasants.

Exactly what I was thinking. I believe Obama and congress are competent to get them up good and high.
