You have been doing really great, itsahoot, but I have to correct you on one thing here.
We purchased every square inch of the Canal Zone. It took several years to square things with private land owners, but our tax money paid for the Canal Zone.
By the way, I was born in the Canal Zone (Gorgas Hospital) and still live in Panama. In other words, I’m not an outsider inventing things.

Great, I was merely loosely quoting from one of the court filings.
As I understand it, we may have purchased the property, but we did not have sovereignty on that land, any more than any foreign business has sovereignty, over land they purchase, they only have property rights.
Is that not a correct understanding?
