Yeah I guess but when they start with the "Bush is in on it conspiracies" it has the potential to stamp this site as Kookville. People need to take a breath and ask themselves why not even McCain and Palin are pushing this? They had the most to gain from this, yet they never even hinted at it. Not even the 527s who ran the Wright ads against McCain's wishes would touch this. They knew they'd lose credibility and be branded kooks.
Yep! That's why Rush isn't touching this, Hannity isn't touching this, National Review asks that the matter be dropped completely. But the biggest selling point for me was that Hillary wouldn't touch it. That's enough to lead me to believe that these allegations have no merit and continuing to pursue them would be chasing ghosts.
Plus, it isn't like this was a close, nail-biter of an election. McCain was soundly beaten.
I guess I should just accept the fact that Free Republic has its share of kooks and conspiracy theorists, always has, and it's good to be a Voice of Reason once in a while so that lurkers can see we're not all crazy.
You are trying to argue your point with arguments that don't matter.
This is a black or white issue. There are no gray areas.
It doesn't matter if Palin or Bush, McCain or anyone else believes it or talks about it.
It actually doesn't matter if no one but one man fights this issue.
He (obama) is either eligible or not. He need to show proof of eligibility under the Constitution.
I am not saying this will happen. I am saying it should and We The People should demand it.
If the majority of the world tells you the sky is purple instead of blue, do you believe it to be purple because most people believe it?
I know what is right and I know what is wrong when I see it. Don't need anybody telling me what I see.
