From what I understand, McCain showed all the required documentation and it was approved. Not sure by who though. This was quite a while ago.
Still an open court case.
Actually, one of the plaintiffs in this suit, Markham Robinson, filed a couple of months ago in federal court against McCain, challenging his natural born status. The judge ruled that an Elector and citizen had no standing to bring such a case. So, the particulars of McCain's situation were never adjudicated.
