For a while I was ambivalent re/ WOD. Not any more. Let “recreational” drug use proceed as people see fit.

However, no handouts for them. No health care for them. They get lung cancer from smoking weed? Tough. Their bad. They get sinus issues from too much blow? Tough. Their suffering is their own doing. They can’t hold a job because they are wasted zombies? Tough. They can live in a van down by the river.

It’s their life; far be it for the government to interfere.

Would you impose the same lack of medical care on tobacco smokers, heavy drinkers and the morbidly obese?

If so, I’m with you 100%.

Addicitve qualities of cocaine are far more severe than alcohol. The health ramifications are likewise far worse. Back in the late nineteenth century everything had cocaine in it. Getting rid of it had alot to do creating with federal drug regulation. Bad stuff. It should stay illegal.

THC is not as addicitve as alcohol and its health effects are fire milder than alcohol. Maybe if it were legal the libs would be more likely to contemplate that each atom in their little finger is like a tiny little universe than getting involved in politics...
