Katrina didn’t teach you very much.
I said “most parts.” I decidely didn’t say “all,” exactly because of the inner cities. First, of course, you have the problem of gangs and other assorted criminals that is worse there (or at least much more concentrated), and second, most inner cities either prohibit their residents to have guns, or the people simply cannot afford them.
Come to suburban or rural Texas and those facts don’t apply - or most of the rest of the country.
As I watched the USSR collapse from this side of the pond, I got the impression that the “final straw” was simply that one day the gov’t just couldn’t pay the employees, and that was it. No checks, no workers, no government. That simple.
The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From Alexander Tyler...
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.
Guess where we are...
Boy, did that make me think....
Thread ping.
For later.
Savagemom, even more the reason to be armed.
That is, beyond you being...a savage mom to your very fortunate babies. ;-)
Get your home armed YESTERDAY.
So, whatcha thinkin’ about these stages...?
I’m beyond disbelief. Why don’t the feds come and TRY to take my 401k.
