No FRiend. You may use .38 ammo in a .357, but not vice versa.....same with .44 special in a .44 mag, Makes it nice with a .357, you can let mom plink with .38 and then load the .357 rounds when you need the extra power.
I looked it up and the Taurus I bought is .38 Special (not .357)
We'll use wad cutters on the range and keep +P for home defense.
Should be adequate if a situation arose where I didn't have time to access the pump shotgun.
