Any ‘Church” that would marry two individuals of the same sex is not a Church by my definition as this type of relationship is cleary prohibited by scripture.
I simply meant to suggest that we as Christians enjoy many freedoms because we live in a country where a majority should not be able to impose on a minority. I realize this is not actually the case but should be. Gun owners could end up on the recieving end of this which would also result in violence. I think we should consider this issue carefully.

There is a 2nd amendment which establishes the rights of gunowners. There is no identifiable Constitutional right of gay marriage. And if a court invents one, it's indistinguishable from the right to marry ones relatives, or have multiple spouses. Nor is their any natural right to be relied on, in fact that line of thought would argue against gay marriage, though perhaps in favor of allowing polygamy.
