When Rino's meet Donkey's!

Technically speaking, the RAT mascot is a Jackass. I believe the origin dates to a newspaper reporter referring to Andrew Jackson as Andrew Jackass.

Until he actually got the nomination Then he became the antichrist. I predicted that move from both hollywood and the media several years ago, were McCain to be the repub candidate. I actually heard people like Alec Baldwin , Whoopi Goldberg, and others over the last 8 years say things like “McCain is one republican I could vote for”, “John McCain is an honorable man I could support”, etc. As I said-until he actually WON the NOMINATION. Then the love affair ended.

Gore met with the President in 2000, but that was after plunging the nation into 35 days of chaos. My only hope is that McCain gets a position and uses it to check the Obamaites crazy agenda. He is a patriot who cares for his country, as much as we disagree with him on some issues. The Gang of 14 gives us needed precedent to be able to oppose liberal judges, something that the nuclear option wouldn’t have allowed us. Maybe that’s what they were thinking at the time. If he does allow himself to be used to advance a radical agenda, I’ll be singing a very different, and angry tune. But his record of service and support of social conservatism leads me to give him the strong benefit of the doubt.

John McCain is the Benedict Arnold of our times...

Never forget that Benedict Arnold was a war hero who betrayed his country because he did not receive what he thought his country owed him. I think his hatred of the Republican party started in 2000 when he lost to Bush. Well, he sure showed us, didn't he. Now, after selling his country out to the Socialists, he's back with his RAT buddies in the Senate eye-thumbing the PUBs and getting his ass kissed by the MSM. I agree, McCain is the Benedict Arnold of out time.

“Make McCain Secretary of Defense. I want to watch the little DU heads exploding in the twilight. ;)”

I know you meant it as humor/sarcasm, but frankly speaking it may be just the one thing that stops us from surrendering in the WOT and giving the terrorists the very victory they're looking for.

Say what you want about McCain (and he wasn't my first choice either...) the man genuinely does have this country's best interests at heart when it comes to defeating Al Qaeda and America's enemies here and abroad.

IMO, that in and of itself is McCain's best quality, all his other flaws aside.

If McCain truly had the nation’s best interests at heart, he wouldn’t be supporting amnesty, which will destroy this nation with the stroke of a pen.

Does that floor show come with popcorn? Actually, for all his warts, McCain did stand up on Defense and Security issues, and to completely dismiss him is very bad.

Obama is in a sticky moment, and he knows it, too. 53% voted for him, and 47% voted against. Alot of the 53% was the "blame and punish W for the financial crisis" crowd. Obama KNOWS he got a very lucky break, or he'd have lost. Awful hard to start a Socialist revolution, unless you can co-opt some of that 47%

Juan McCain goes true to form. The guy simply can't help it. Sucking up to the enemy and stabbing his Party in the back comes very naturally to this clown.
There is a fundamental, fatal character flow in this man. The Republican Party will do well to exorcise this McCain cancer from it's ranks, and elect proper conservatives who can take on the terrorist Hussein Obama, to lead the party.

I’m PISSED that I VOTED for McLAme. I did it as the lesser of two evils and for Sarah’s sake, but I still did it. And now he’s meeting with HUSSEIN???? Who’s next, Bill Ayers?

"Someone mentioned in a thread the other day that Napolitano, under Arizona law, would have to appoint a Republican to replace McCain. If this is true, we won’t have to worry about the democrats picking up a seat in Arizona." That is only half true. Napolitano can pick any Republican of her choosing, which means all she has to do is pick a Republican loyal to her, perhaps another RINO with even less good intentions on war/terror issues, who will in return for the appointment commit to a deal not to run for the Senate seat in 2010, giving her an easy shoe-in Senate seat in 2010 (her term as gov. is up in 2010.)

You think that McCain is actually a Republican?

Those were my thoughts exactly. I was waiting for someone to mention this. Palin was the only true republican/conservative on the ticket.

McCain will once again revel in his "MAVERICK" status--

as he will revert to thumbing his nose at Republicans to work with the Hussein Administration.

Does this look like change? Same old BS as usual. Americans have got to wake up and realize we don’t have any say in this country anymore. We do need a new third party and it’s long over due.
