Senator Cornyn was instrumental, with others, in assisting Pete Olson beating democrat Nick SoroBoy Lampson last week to regain Republican control over Tom DeLays previous HR TX-22 seat. See related FR threads

Senator Ensign did a HORRIBLE job in that post, I certainly wish Senator Cornyn better luck.
Maybe Senator Cornyn can see to it that all the people who run against Republicans in 2010 are as broke and pitiful as Rick Noriega was.

I hope he does a better job than his predecessors. Liddy Dole was awful in 2006. She didn’t send money to Montana and we barely lost that seat. That and the virginia seat which we would not have lost even with the Macaca incident if we had had some compotent leadership.
That set off a series of events that made Mac our nominee this year instead of conservative favorite George Allen, and we all know how that turned out.

I nominate Lamar Alexander for finding jobs for Bush’s long time friends of the family. I mean the ones in public office. Put them all in jobs away from politics. I think Lamar should lead by example and be the first to go. He can take his side kick Corker da Porker with him.

Sen. Cornyn was also John McLame’s nemesis when it came to the immigration task force.
Give ‘em hell, John!

Cornyn is so low key that it is remarkable that he has ever been elected to anything. She seems lacking in energy.

Poor Liddy, I don’t think she likes that nickname either. She began to believe her own press releases. I surely hated to see her go down because that was the Helms seat, and Democrats and liberals cheered mercilessly.

Can Cornyn recruit good candidates?
Can he raise gobs of cash on par or outpacing the DSCC & DNC?
