You are correct, sir, it did in McConnell v. Federal Election Commission, 540 U.S. 93 (2003). Which makes me wonder what they're thinking. Or if they're thinking.

It was, but since then the Nine High Priests of Justice have shot down two parts of McCain-Feingold. Read Federal Election Commission v. Wisconsin Right to Life, Inc. (2007) and Davis v. Federal Election Commission (2008).
