The RNC was in power for nearly 6 years. They should have done everything possible to reduce the possiblity of voter fraud in the future like requiring photo IDs!

The Dems’ attitude now is essentially....”everyone knows we’re cheating, and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it. We’ll do what we want.”

And something about illegal immigration, balancing the budget, cutting liberal welfare programs ...

It's nice to blame the party in power for not doing so many things.

But if you wanted even more seats taken from the GOP you couldn't pick an issue more ensured to do so. They would have been painted even worse as bigots and people-haters. The MSM would have seen to it.

It will have to be the grass-roots who will have to see to their own local and state-wide election processes. Don't expect the Washington pols to solve every problem for you.

And Graham, Voinovich, and Lugar.

On election night, Stevens was ahead by 3,257 votes. There were 90,635 uncounted Absentee, Early, and "questioned" ballots. Stevens got 12,008 additional votes from the ballots that they have counted today. Begich got 14,294 additional votes. 90,635-26,016=64,619 left to count. If the rest of the ballots come in at the same rate as the first 26,000 Begich will win by several thousand votes.

Are you saying ballots are still "coming in"? From where?
And, something I noticed from the 2000 "recount" in Florida. Every time they count votes, each candidate gets a few more votes, but the dem always gets more votes - keep counting until the dem has more and declare him the winner.

I was waiting for the RNC to SLAM these “recounts”, rolling out facts and figures and generally showing that the DNC is stealing the seats.

Still waiting.

I haven’t even heard a whimper.

Sixty, schmixty.

I saw on a TV show a video of a stuntman who was to hang from a small plane's axle while in flight. The camera, mounted over the guy's shoulder showed all. It showed the waist harness that secured him to the plain fail, it showed him struggling to keep a grip on an axle that was really too large a diameter to grip securely without the harness carrying some of his weight.

He knew the instant the harness failed he was going to die. For three of four seconds I actually teared up as I saw him fight for one more millisecond's grip.

Whatever happens.. fine by me. The same people who are winners today will be the same people who are winners tomorrow and the losers will go right on suffering.

So man is walking backwards, so what? We don't go to Mars? Big whoop, we've got time before our Sun gets big and red. Someone has to create things for there to be things. It'll start up again.

In the mean time.. Ride 'em Cowboy!

We voted for Stevens, absentee. It was a political not a moral choice. We knew he was convicted.

I wonder how many have seen the Obama approved "assault weapons ban." It's much worse than the Klintoon ban. MUCH worse.

Is it the 1022 or the 6750 version?

Precisely!....Republicans were in power (Admin and Congress) for six years and what did they do about preventing the likely return of the Fairness Doctrine?

Sadly, the Dems are so close, there will be some liberal Repubs who join forces with them so as to share the power. A couple seats here and there won’t make too much of a difference.

Most places call that a coup.

and in 2012 .. Obama will win by 75% .... in 2016 ... 90% ... in 2020 ... 99% for the dear leader.

That is assuming some sort of worldwide disaster doesn't strike first. Like a Chinese, Iran, Russian Axis forming and taking the rest of the world.

Isn't it amazing how long it always takes to count the votes in these contested elections? You wouldn't think it would take so much time for them to finish creating those fraudulent ballots. I guess they are being paid by the hour.

99% for the dear leader.

Barack Hussein will soon win the same percentage of the electorate as Saddam Hussein once did.

Snowe thinks of no one else but Snowe, always has. It is highly doubtful that that affliction has a cure.
