Michael Steele sounds like he wants to be front and center in the new conservative movement!!!!
Problem is if he wants the top job and That One bombs like we know he will, does he have a legitimate chance to win.
If That One is wildly successful, then we’re 4 years too late, no?

The situation reminds me of a friend who gets dumped, and proceeds to question every single darn thing about himself to see where it all went wrong. Accompanying loss of self-esteem, paranoia, emotional fragility and uncertainty about the future. Theories abound (it was this, it was that, it must have been this, or that- no maybe the dumper is the one who is screwed up, why didnt they see it my way, cant they see how wrong they are, well, it must be my fault...) What advice would you give to such a person? Pull yourself together! Take inventory, and get ready to move forward.
