My issue is liberals using the courts for anything they cant sell, along with public schools to brainwash kids. The califoria courts force this so the news media could see all the HAPPY people, and the little kids brainwashed. They use democracy as a tool to convince us we have a say, nothing else.

Florida passed an amendment that says marriage is between a man and a woman.
Only thing they’ve done right in an election for quite some time.

In said circumstances there is the pitcher and the catcher.
Olberfool is the catcher.

I need to get Rush 24/7. The next two years will be wild and I remember 93-94, wish he had a TV show again.

“If marriage was not redefined years ago (BY PASSING LAWS KEITH!) the president’s parents couldn’t have married””

Wait, marriage had to be redefined for George and Barbara Bush to get married?

Oh, the president-*elect*. Olbermann is getting ahead of himself, isn’t he?

Oh, and I don’t think that laws in Hawaii (where Obama’s parents were married) ever banned inter-racial marriages.

Oh, and the wedding between Obama’s parents *did* violate the law, and still would vioplate the law, because Obama’s father was *already married* and bigamy is illegal in all 50 states. But I’m sure that Olbermann’s next crusade is to get judges to declare polygamy laws unconstitutional because “the human heart” sometimes wants to marry several different people.

What a maroon.

How about his messiah Obama claiming to be against gay marriage ?

It is funny to hear people rail against the supporters of Prop 8 but retain a respectful distance from Obama who has come out, if you will, against (and for, I've heard) gay marriage. I think that is why gay marriage supporters want to rush it through, or overturn Prop 8 before he takes office, to avoid the obvious conflict.

All the more reason to keep any conflict alive, wag the dog style. Perhaps that's why he's been so vocal against Prop 8 - to build a loyal fan base (at least until they achieve their goal), keep him employed. We all need to work and eat. In theory, anyway.

How is it that this ‘right’ has only recently been discovered? How could societies and families have functioned for thousands of years, never having acknowledging or asserting this ‘right’ that has been there all along?

You know how it works. Scalia gives regular lectures on judges inventing things. The game is to only do as much as you can without alarming the public, so they actually vote libs out of office. It's pure game crap as social engineering and it works because the pols usually agree but cant say. Like Obama against gay marriage, they want judges to make up the crap .

How can a judge order licenses be given out or order NJ elected to rewrite law? If marriage is unconstitutional it is, then throw it out. But they clearly make up law,
