"when believers say he spent months without moving, sitting with his eyes closed beneath a tree" LOL. Loads of teenagers and 20-somethings do this without anyone mistaking them for the Buddha!!
Most of the time they don't make it outdoors to anyone's tree and they simply do it on Mom & Dad's couch..... add video games, TV, and iPods into the mix and we've accounted for a majority of all teens. They're not all Buddhas......

AND I got lost in the mall one time I came out 6 hours later with 2 pairs of shoes, a Coach purse and 3 new outfits. Is someone gonna worship me next? Huh, if that's all you have to do to be deified, my wife is Zeus.

What value is there in literally doing nothing? Why should that be deserving of worship? He was meditating, basically the Buddhist equivalent of prayer. I don't buy the whole "since 2005" thing without food or water, but Buddhist monks have literally meditated themselves to death, dying in their medidative pose. Think of how people respect a martyr dying for his Christian faith or a monk taking a vow poverty (giving up all worldly things to devote himself to his faith) and you may get an idea of how people can revere someone who has taken his beliefs that far, or at least for this guy medidating for several years.

Dang! What did Buddha do to get reincarnated again? I mean if Buddha couldn’t go into extinction without remainder, why bother to listen to anything he had to say?

Ram Bahadur Bamjan, 18, believe he has been meditating without food and water since he was first spotted...
Wii or XBox 360?
I think since he is sitting still it would have to be an Xbox.

The followers of Ram Bahadur Bamjan, 18, believe he has been meditating without food and water since he was first spotted in the jungles of southern Nepal in 2005, when believers say he spent months without moving, sitting with his eyes closed beneath a tree.
No food and water since 2005, and he's not moving, and his eyes are closed? It's like miraculous, man.
