I have a question for vetern FR’s.
What would you do if:
you were almost broke. The major asset being your home that’s almost paid for (but is in somewhat in disrepair) and you are self supporting (no partner) and worked in the Real Estate Industry? What would be your next move to prepare for what’s coming down the pike.
There are some extremely intelligent people on here and I’m looking for some objective insight on hoow best to prepare.
Obtain in this order the following:
Food products suitable for long term (6 months) storage.
Silver bullion
Firearm, preferably a 12 gauge shotgun.
500 to 1000 shells of various types.
Sleeping bag rated to zero degrees.
If you have a fireplace, 2 cords of firewood.
You don't have much time.

Honestly?
Start looking for low-income rental properties that you can pay CASH for, or borrow very little to get.
That demand will always be there, and the Obama Administration will be providing TONS of Section 8 support, I fear.
