Unscientifically, I think this is going to take some amount of pondering and wound-licking time. Enthusiam is great, there’s nothing better. But folks are going to have some very serious economic issues to work on over the next few years and as long as BHO is viewed as the messiah, I see little chance for a conservative groundswell. As long as political life in the US is seen (by both parties) as an open door to raping an economic structure “while the getting’s good”, mere cheerleading ain’t gonna cut it. I think most conservatives have a good idea of what needs to be done, but preaching to the choir isn’t going to win converts as long as we’re in “bailout of the day” mode. Just my .02.
By the way, who would I talk to about a plan that would solve global warming, the energy crisis, unemployment, and world hunger all in one really simple package. It would also make the operators $billions.
