Conservatives should join the Republican Party, and start selecting NEW Talent, not old codgers for the top spots. The Republican Party needs new blood and talent, and especially at the top spot elections.

I am sure that there is plenty of younger conservative adults to get activated into the Republican Party, and cut out the Geritol Generation such as John McCain , Fred Thompson, etc.

I am sure many new leaders have formed from our Military who have served combatting Terroism, since Sept 11, 2001. Military leaders who have law degrees or other degrees, who would look good on the cover of GQ. It’s time.

All the old Party Hacks need to make it their business to find them and put them in the spotlight and groom them for the future of America.

Get someone who is computer savy, media savy, etc.

Hey watch how your talk about your elders there young'un.

There are a few of us "old timers" around who can still "get down" with the best of them. lol

Besides some maturity and experience can sometimes substitute for youth and energy; both go well, hand-in-hand.

I know what you mean and just joshing you.

There are WAY too many entrenched career pols who have outlasted their usefulness to the party and too set (Moderates and Status Quo, unfortunately) in their ways.

Basically, I agree, but where oh where are we going to come up with good, conservative, young talent and LEADERS???
