That’d make for an interesting standoff. In the old days, it’d be time for tar and feathers. We’re more civilized now, but I’m afraid a constitutional crisis is the only thing that will get their attention.

Force a recall, like we did for Gray Davis back in 2003. It might be an off-year election and that would work to our advantage.

At the same time, include on the same ballot another gay initiative so that voters will vote to both remove and to reinstate the constitutional amendment.

Critical to do it before Arnold leaves office as Governors appoint Supreme Court justices.
