33 Minutes -- Heritage Foundation

Posted on 11/11/2008 4:56:56 PM PST by rvoitier

In the winter of 2009, the Heritage Foundation will release a high-definition documentary that tells the story of the very real threat that hostile nations and rogue dictators now pose to every one of us. In 33 minutes or less, life as we know it in America could end. That's the time it would take for an enemy's ballistic missile to hit the United States.

In 33 minutes or less, life as we know it in America could end.

Been that way for the past 50 years -- since the Soviets got their first ICBMs. And China's had 'em for over 30 years. Of course these nations are (relatively) sane, and value their survival. Not so with some Islamic nations, apparently. But thankfully the latter don't have intercontinental delivery systems....yet.

True... That a nuke or dirty bomb in the US.. could
signal the end to normal american life.. A ballistic
missile threat is quite SILLY.. There is no need to maintain a missile delivery system.. the parts to a bomb “any type of bomb” could be smuggled in easily.. and deployed.. Who could do this?.. Well almost anyone.. A worldwide organization is not even needed..

The ballistic missile situation is silly.. a waste of money actually.. There are domestic forces that would actually HELP to deploy a weapon of mass destruction here.. America has been dumbed down to a poisonous mass..

Interesting times await..

Exactly why an isolationist foreign policy will not work.

And being rogue states, some with suicidal tendencies, we cannot afford to be anything but pre-emptive.

It seems that the Iraq war has taken pre-emptive action off the table.

So we must gear for early detection and lightning fast responses alongside measures to absorb the first blow.

Welcome to the 21st century.

p.s. Pakistan has nukes. We heard of Obama’s desire to take Pakistan out.

Yeah, more like 0.033 seconds to end normal American life.
