Mexico hopes to convince President-Elect Obama to embrace open migration
Border Fire Report ^ | 11 November 2008

Posted on 11/11/2008 3:08:50 PM PST by 3AngelaD

Mexican Secretary of Exterior Relations, Patricia Espinosa Cantellano, said that when Barak Obama becomes president, Mexico will reassert its contention that his agenda include an immigration agreement as a priority...In a press conference, she assured that President Felipe Calderon is confident that with Obama’s presidency a migration agreement will finally be reached that permits both nations a flow of migration that is legal, safe and orderly.

Espinosa also said that the Mexican government hopes the US president-elect changes his position on the construction of the border fence. She pointed out that Calderon’s government will continue to raise the issue, respectfully but firmly, that the border fence does not correspond to the friendly relations and and the partnership that exists between Mexico and the US. Pointing out the contributions Mexicans make to the US economy and society that benefits both sides, she stated, “we hope that with the new administration we can continue working in the sense of the importance of the border becoming a common area of opportunities and that we concentrate on efforts that take us to better levels of well being.”

She added that, without a doubt, the big challenge is to succeed in delivering the message to the US people in order to obtain the consensus necessary to promote migratory reform.

Why not? Mexico knows it will eventually annex all 48 states thru sheer weight of numbers.

Then only one variety of 'people of color' will matter.

But then I don't suppose Obama is thinking much farther than the next election.

Democrats will have to address the looming Social Security crisis. They certainly won’t cut benefits. An increase in taxes won’t help much, if at all. The solution will be to substantially increase immigration, both legal and illegal. Immigration quotas will be raised (as they should be) to increase legal immigration. Border enforcement will be gutted to increase illegal immigration.

Bad idea. With unemployment now skyrocketing, U.S. citizens are going to need to start doing all the jobs the illegal aliens want to do.

If unemployment is skyrocketing, that is bad for the incumbent party. To Obama and the Dems, all the more reason for amnesty and open borders. The beneficiaries of amnesty will be voting >80% Democrat.

Forget this 60-70% Hispanics voting Democrat, as that includes some Cubans and long assimilated Hispanics. The amnesty crowd will vote like the population Starr County, TX, America's most Hispanic county.

12-20 million, voting 85% Democrat (without having to bother to even win their vote) is enough to give the Democrats one party rule for life.

Well I am done mourning and stand ready to fight right along side you. I am so sick of seeing posts of defeatism. Zero is one man who clearly does not have the guts of an Abe Lincoln or even a Harry Truman. Leaders who care as much as Zero does about what people think of them rarely accomplish great change...good or bad.

Add to that the power of the people. White House and Congressional phone systems can be crashed. We did it once and can do it as many times as need be. We can compile lists of yellow dog dems who can be swayed our way, lists of congressmen up for reelection, and of course RINOs that need to hear from the people more often. Does anyone know if they have caller id in congressional offices? I have a gift for dialects and can pretend to be from a whole lot of different states.

Take pictures now, folks. The America you knew just eight short years ago will soon be gone.

And a tip of the fedora to compassionate conservative asshat GW Bush for refusing to secure the border when we had the chance.

Hello, parasitic diseases! Hello, leprosy!

If Obama’s plans are all put into effect, no Mexican in his right mind will come into this country — no jobs anywhere. On the other hand...we might have better luck reforming the Mexican government than the Republican. Open migration might work for us here (there).

“Migratory reform” is another code phrase for amnesty.

Amnesty, plus, future integration of labor markets.

It’s about getting an edge on lowering wages for Americans, and Mexicans getting rid of their own people.

Win-win for Mexico

Relieves their population of the poor who would revolt and change their government. Also, less mouths to feed and take care of.

Brings in BILLIONS of dollars back into their economy.

.

Obama is chomping at the bit to grant amnesty and fling open the borders:

Obama’s speech to La Raza:
(La Raza (The Race), Largest Hispanic organization in the U.S.- Lobbies for racial preferences, bilingual education, stricter hate crimes laws, mass immigration, and amnesty for illegal aliens )

Obama pimps illegal aliens. Considering the additional violent crime, third word diseases they bring into this country and the billions of dollars it cost us to take care of them.
SHAMEFUL!!

“I walked the walk. I talked the talk. I marched with you for “civil rights” of “immigrants”. (!!)
SHAMEFUL!!

Obama said the recent Senate immigration debate “was both ugly and racist in a way we haven’t seen since the struggle for civil rights.”
SHAMEFUL!!

Obama told La Raza that the mass protests lately of for immigration rights of Mexicans is equal in greatness to the civil rights protest of the past!
SHAMEFUL!!

Omama supports La Raza’s, the “DREAM Act,” which would mandate states to offer in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens — thus providing them with benefits not available to U.S. citizens from other states.
SHAMEFUL!!

The National Academy of Sciences has estimated that each immigrant without a high school degree will cost U.S. taxpayers, on average, $89,000 over the course of his or her lifetime.[3] This is a net cost above the value of any taxes the immi*grant will pay and does not include the cost of educating the immigrant’s children, which U.S. taxpayers would also heavily subsidize. In this way, the roughly six million legal immigrants without a high school diploma will impose a net cost of around a half-trillion dollars on U.S. taxpayers over their lifetimes

Legal Mexicans should be fighting this.

If this happens, America will become hell on earth for ALL Mexicans.

But, if thats how they want to do it, thats fine with me.

With unemployment now skyrocketing, U.S. citizens are going to need to start doing all the jobs the illegal aliens want to do.

I've news for you........Americans used to do...thousands of jobs illegals took over.

I watched it happen in the late 70's, 80's, 90's in SOCAL...in the construction industry.

If you think those Americans DIDN'T want to do those jobs....you've taken one too many pucks to the head........
