I hope the JBTs realize that the phrase “from my cold, dead hands” actually means something.
You mean like when the first AWB went into place? I seem to miss the mass uprising, the running gun battles, and the millions of outraged gun owners fighting back when the original AWB took effect...
“I hope the JBTs realize that the phrase from my cold, dead hands actually means something.”
I think it means very little. Frankly, I find that phrase along with “molon labe” to be tiresome. They’re slogans usually (but not always) uttered by those who simply want to sit on their asses and let someone else do the heavy lifting to protect our gun rights.
Heaven forbid worse comes to worst. I expect that 90% plus of said individuals would not only allow their guns to be taken from their very live and trembling hands, but would show up early to turn in their guns should that confiscation order ever come about.
