Just hours after President Bush and President-elect Obama met in the Oval Office of the White House, details of their confidential conversation began leaking out to the press, igniting anger from the president, sources claim.
"Senator Obama would be wise to keep close counsel," a top Bush source warned.
"BUSH AND OBAMA AT ODDS OVER AID FOR AUTO INDUSTRY," splashed the NEW YORK TIMES in an exclusive Monday evening, quoting "people familiar with the discussion."
The two met at the White House in private, without staff.
"Bush indicated at the meeting that he might support some aid and a broader economic stimulus package if Obama and congressional Democrats dropped their opposition to a free-trade agreement with Colombia," claimed the TIMES.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS quickly followed with details of the conversation, citing "aides who described the discussion on grounds of anonymity, citing the private nature of the meeting."
Bush advisers view the leaks as an effort to undermine the president's remaining days in office.
"Senator Obama may not be familiar with a long-standing tradition of presidents holding their private conversations, private," a senior adviser explained to the DRUDGE REPORT.

Why would Bush or anyone else expect anything different? Bush attempts to be gracious and more accomodating than clinton was when he should tell BO he’s on his own. BO deserves every bit of the respect that he and the democrat party accorded Bush and his administration over the last 8 years; none. I personally want to buy one of the bumper stickers the democrat party pushed over the last 8 years — “HE’S NOT MY PRESIDENT”.
Look at his background: 1/2 south Chicago gangsta and 1/2 hippie/white trash. Wait until Yomama figures out that slaves once worked in the President’s House. He’s gonna flip.
‘Well, Obama just failed his first test as a new world leader.’
Before this is all over, his failures will be legion.
I'm will you 100% on that. I could care less for any sentiments that GM Ford, Chrysler are 'American' auto makers.
Besides, that statement isn't even true. They are multi national auto makers, with plants in America. They are just as "American" as auto plants in America owned by nissan Toyota, and Honda.
In true CAPITALIST fashion, they can either eat or be eaten, sink or swim. It is the American way. I care a rats @ss about autoworkers union, and the unnecessary costs they have added to the price of an auto.
In fact I'm completely disgusted that added costs to imported auto's are because of greedy American unions.
If Auto workers can't live on $100,000 salaries, and pay for their own health care, and enjoy a comfortable living, invest and grow vast personal wealth from that generous wage, then there is something wrong with the way their daddies raised them.
NO subsidies to auto palnts.
NO subsidies to auto plants.
If government wants to help the auto industry, they can buy ME a new car, not make me keep paying for the ones I already paid for once.
Obama told them to leak it.
Not one person on the left has any morals, zero, noda, zip.
He probably already knows about the slaves in the WH. His paternal family/tribe in Kenya was known for their deep involvement in capturing and selling slaves before, during and after the American slave period. That is his direct connection to slavery along with his monther’s ancestors owning slaves and his devotion to the party of slavery.
The question is, will the MSM propaganda be sufficient to keep his support from collapsing, and even if the sheeple wake up, will Obama fix the elections in 2010 and 2012?
Great point you made and let me add.
If America wanted to bailout the US auto industry we’d buy their cars instead of Japans.

Maybe this can be our slogan for the next four years. Like a private message among friends!
“Time magazine is going to make me vomit over the next four years, isnt it?”
Yes, just like it has made us vomit in the past 8 years. And the eight years before that. Some things never change.
The US auto industry has been failing for 30 years, but we keep propping it up, sort of like Weekend at Bernie’s. Let it fail on its own lack of merit and start again. The factory infrastructure is already there. Why keep bad companies around just for sentimental reasons? Why should I pay good money in a bad economy for an American lesser quality car, when my dollar will go farther with an import that gets 30% better fuel economy? Just to “buy American” and thump my chest and feel good about myself? Just like this country has to go to hell and back with Yomama before it wakes up, the auto industry should be allowed to do the same, until it can rise again from its own ashes.
Hes gonna flip.

No, he’s going to start payback to whitey.
Well then perhaps it’s time to re-think the grand old tradition of security briefings for inexperienced, blabbermouth newbies for in fact, that’s all it is. If Obamination cannot even keep his pie hole closed 24 hours, perhaps President Bush should keep the White House and security briefings door closeed until January 20th. Smooth transition? Ha!
This might be a silly question but the Oval office carpet used to be blue. When did it change to the current cream color?
Probably after President Bush was sworn in, since Lord only knows what the blue carpet was stained with after Clinton.
WOW - never thought of that, and thanks for that EWWWW! moment.
I hope Israel is listening.
Don’t necessarily think it’s Obama. Dick Morris on Fox stated that Rahm Emanuel is a big mouth. He recollected that President Clinton phoned him and railed at him for information that had leaked to the press. Morris stated he didn’t tell anyone except Emanuel and another Clinton aid. Morris purportedly then stated that Clinton noted he should have just gone to the press directly by telling Emanuel. According to Morris Emanuel is in it for Emanuel - his own political ambitions and purposes. This is a likely scenario.
