The Reality of the UN Convention Rights of the Child

"Imagine If..." The Reality of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

Imagine an Air Force mom, serving her country on a month-long deployment, who learns that her daughter has been secretly removed by local authorities, claiming the child has been "abandoned." Children begin mandatory sex-education at the age of four, regardless of their family's opinions, beliefs, or convictions, and parents are imprisoned if their children fail to receive any of their mandatory vaccinations. Parents live in a state of constant supervision and suspicion.

Imagine if your national government had the audacity to appoint a "guardian" to monitor your child from birth, charged with the legal responsibility to evaluate your decisions as a parent and armed with the legal authority to "intervene, prevent or rectify" any violations of your child's rights. Public and private schools alike are policed by the national government, and classes begin with singing about the principles of peace, tolerance, and the United Nations. Your child's confidential medical records, stored in a nation-wide electronic register from birth until age twenty, can be accessed at any time, without your knowledge, by any physician, teacher, or government social worker in the nation.

Now stop imagining, because for parents in the 193 countries that have ratified the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child, each of these scenarios is true.

A storm is rapidly forming on the horizon.

International law that seeks to empower the government to intrude upon the child-parent relationship is becoming an increasing threat. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), a seemingly harmless treaty with dangerous implications for American families, is approaching possible ratification by the United States.

If this treaty is made binding upon our country, the government would have the power to intervene in any child’s life to advance its definition of “the best interests of the child.” The scenarios that could occur—and are occurring—as a result of this dangerous notion are both manifold and frightening.

Under the UNCRC, instead of following due process, government agencies would have the power to override your parental choices at their whim because they determine what is in “the best interest of the child.”

In essence, the UNCRC applies the legal status of abusive parents to all parents. This means that the burden of proof falls on the parent to prove to the State that they are good parents—when it should fall upon the State to prove that their investigation is not without cause.

A SHELTER IN THE STORM

There is only one solution to this approaching storm: a constitutional amendment that places current Supreme Court doctrine protecting parental rights into the explicit language of the U.S. Constitution. This amendment will shelter the child-parent relationship from the coming storm, ensuring that parents have the right to direct the upbringing and education of their children.

No government, regardless of how well-intentioned it might be, can replace the love and nurture of a parent in the life of a child. Parents care, not because their children are “wards” for whom they are responsible. Parents are willing to brave danger and sacrifice, hardship and heartache to ensure the best for their kids.

As Americans we cannot be complacent about this and shrug it off as being far-fetched.

We are losing our freedoms rapidly and doing nothing is wrong. This UN Connvention on the Rights of the Child is a very real danger looming on our horizon.

Our SCOTUS never votes for anything they do not see in writing. So far in our Constitution we have no rights as parents listed. With this ammendment the SCOTUS would have to uphold this and over-ride the UN policy that is coming down the road.

Many of our politicians are already on board with the UN.

Don’t wait too late. Your children are at stake!

The Communist and Socialist have never been able to defeat freedom and liberty in a stand-up fight (war). So they now work to destroy freedom and liberty from underneath like the spawns from hell that they are.
They understand they can not beat us, so the logical step is to keep the next generations from desiring and understanding freedom and liberty. It starts in the schools and with them trying to prevent us from raising our own children and them doing so instead.

We need out of the UN, and the UN needs booted out of NY.

After we seize all their US assets to pay for unpaid parking tickets.

The Obamanation has already said he opposes selective vaccination, and of course we can already assume he will do all he can to outlaw homeschooling.

The storm is coming.

As a matter of fact he will try to outlaw homeschooling. You can count on it. He wants them in the Public School Indoctrination Camps. Along with doing away with our basic parental rights on whether or not the parents want to vaccinate a child or not.

My children have always been homeschooled (11 years) AND we choose NOT to vaccinate.

We are in the cross hairs!

So abortion is now prohibited by international law?

Or children don’t have the right to breath if they could be considered a punishment to their mother (to hell with whether it is a punishment for 18 years for the father) or the Chinese government?
