A Socialist country that allows students to fail? Maybe we should try THAT brand of socialism, Barak.

It's called tough love and our public school systems need this. Thank God my wife is home-schooling our daughter!

Discipline problems create more problems in the schools than anything else. A poor well disciplined school will always produce better results than a rich well supplied, but poorly disciplined school.
SOOOOO we could save a bunch of money if we kick a bunch of behinds.

The Obamessiah and his pal Bill Ayers squandered more than $100 million on Chicago “education” without figuring out simple basics like requiring decent behavior and a good learning environment!!
Instead they pandered to every imbecilic radical group that wanted to get paid big money to hold workshops on How to Radicalize Public School Teachers and Students, etc.

Good for the principal.
But come on1
Wouldn’t the act of dismissing 400 of the worst students automatically raise the average of the remaining students?
To: bruinbirdman
It stands to reason a lax policy on discipline will result in increased bad behaviour. Reason - in education - now there's a novel concept.

Thanks for the info.
I only skimmed the first paragraph because I had to go downstairs and ground my own teen age son for not doing his homework.
lol
I am also fighting the flu. I told him that if he argues his grouding automatically doubles.
He didn’t say a word.
