"As one who subscribes to most of the Pentecostal theology, I consider Sarah Palin an embarrassment."
I sure would like to know what that all means.
You write the book, and I'll read it.

You said “In Jesus” eyes, parenthood is a higher calling than the presidency.” How do you know that? Did Jesus come to your hospital room and tell you or did he call you on the phone? Every child is a special child and they all need a Mother and a Father, but they also need parents who work and what kind of work they do is none of your business. B the way when did they let you out?

I subscribe to this: "Don't leave the little special-needs child without a mommy." In Jesus' eyes, parenthood is a higher calling than the presidency. Hate to burst your bubble, but Sarah Palin DOES have a husband. Who happens to be the baby's father.
I mean, what is he, chopped liver?

In my world Geez, is short for Gee whiz. It was not derived from religion. You know what assume means don’t you. As to assuming the role of President, why would the mommy role disappear.

“”Geez” is a derivative of Jesus’ name, which mature Christians try not to take in vain, especially on the public record.”
Wrongo, Kurt. Geez is short for Gee Whiz. I have heard this for the last 60 years........even in church.
Check your spring, it is possibly wound too tightly.

That reminds me: As an American, I consider Bush and Palin's inability to pronounce the word nuclear an embarrassment too... If someone has misplaced their stick, I think I know where it is...

I do not believe “Geez” is a derivitive of Jesus- do you have a source for that? I have never in my life heard that. My grandmother was very religious and she said golly gee whilikers when upset and would shorten that to “geez” at times.
Her son and other children are not and will not be without a mommy. Sarah and her husband are sharing the child rearing which is how it should be more often. Do you give no credit to dads being able to care for children?

Uh oh, Kurt. You’ve stepped in it this time. You sound like the Church Lady. LOL. Recall that our Savior said, “What comes out of a person’s mouth does not defile them, but what is in the heart.” (Paraphrased a bit) Lighten up. Your Lord told you to be joyful.
