Ugh. Not inspiring to me in the least. A totally feckless campaign. NEXT!

I’d rather it be Newt.

Sorry, but Fred is a “has been” as far as leading the Republicans into the winning column.

I fear I share your view, but with the added directives of “far from here and quickly!”

I like him a lot, but he simply wasn't there when we needed him. I think there comes a time in every man's life when he no longer welcomes new challenges. I think Fred is there.

I would not outrightly oppose him in the position, but I think there are possible others who could do more for the cause at this point.

More like “Go To Hell, Fred.” Fred did nothing but suck the little remaining oxygen in the room away from the alternatives to McCain, weak as they were (Romney, Huckabee). He talked a good talk, but never walked.

Fred is the past. Yes he needs to go - - go far away. Man takes hours to decide which white shirt to wear. Thank you for your service Fred but we are moving on. You were a starter candidate.

Maybe there is that light in the tunnel ain’t a train coming.

I supported Fred in the primaries but he needs to come out against McCain-Feingold, election reform, illegal immigration, etc. if he or anyone else wants to head the RNC.

Starve the RNC as long as it’s a RINO organization.

Still totin my FRED 08 sticker! Fred would make a good restart for conservatives in the right, RIGHT direction, but I also think Newt can be good there too, he was great with Contract for America and we really need one again.
Fred or Newt, yeah there’s more good conservatives out there, but HNIC of RNC must also know the ropes to get anything done.
