"I just don't think it's American," said Garner. "I just don't think it's neighborly. We have children that live in our neighborhood and I'm sure their parents have to explain to them why that flag is hanging like that." It's called Free Speech baby - live with it.

The election is over," she said. "It's happened and we need to come together Can't do that. The man enables murder. I can't compromise with that.

If it were possible to actually get something good for the country accomplished, I would favor cooperating on a project-by-project basis. The country did come together after 9/11 to accomplish disaster recovery. But if unity means compromise of important values, I am completely in agreement with you. This country is split—politically because it is culturally. So long as the liberals use government to shove their culture down our throats, they will get no cooperation from me.

Worse... America will wake up in absolute shock at what they have done. But, it will be too late.

No, they're the same ones who have done this very thing, supported with a nod and a wink death wishes on Bush and Cheney, said 'Bush will never be my president', and trashed patriotic Americans for being 'nazis'. Now that their guy is in office, the very actions they used to show disgust in a presidency are now unacceptable.
Shut it, liberals. I will protest what I deem fit as provided to me by the first amendment.

I tied a black ribbon to the end of the flagpole above my American flag. And it will fly like that until I’m sure we have a president who was born in the United States. On Jan 20th, that flag comes down an up goes the Ft. Moultrie Flag and The Title of Liberty Flag, flown every other month. On the 4th, Vets Day and Memorial Day, out comes the American Flag with the ribbon. I don’t care if you don’t like it or you do ... its MY business, it is how I feel. And when saying the pledge? Just replace “stands” for “stood” and you’ll understand.

I flew my flag upside down thru the second clinton term and only replaced it when Bush was inaugurated. It was in taters by then and I still have it.
I flew my flag upside down when it became apparent Tuesday nite that McCain couldn’t win, but I took it in this weekend.
My neighbors now all know my thoughts on the matter but in the long run I am going to cruise below the radar until a higher profile is required.

I will give the new Pres Obama all the respect that the left has given to President Bush for the last 8 years.
That should make them happy.
What goes around, comes around. Only this time, their guy is going to do a lot of damage to this country and everyone in it, and the idiots who voted for him will not be exempt.
To: KosmicKitty
The reprobate is not even technically Pres. elect yet (Contrary to mediacrats he won't be until the EC meets and votes) and has not signed one piece of legislation/ Executive Order. Until then dissent will be more effective REACTING to actual deeds instead of the results of a free election.

I assume since the source was WFAA (D.C.), this was Arlington, VA. This fellow had better be careful lest those diversity trained (and oxymoronic GOVERNMENT WORKERS) fire bomb his home.
Obama has twice taken an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic" and to "bear true faith and allegiance to the same." He has never honored that oath, and, based on his policy proposals and objectives, he has no intention to honor it after again reciting that oath on 20 January 2009. Obama seeks to, in his own words, "break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution."
The flag in front of this house will remain as you see it here.
Inverted for the international signal for distress.
At half-staff to memorialize the death of the Constitution on 11/4.
(CAUTION: DANGEROUS RHETORICAL QUESTION AHEAD!)
MY GOD, how DID WE GET HERE??
To: Rummyfan
It's called Free Speech baby - live with it. Shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theater isn't so protected, neither is this particular action.
Report it to the authorities and let them determine if an actual distress exists and is an abuse of the public trust in that message of distress.

Here are my thoughts on this subject.
First off this is the man's private property and to tell him what to do or what not to do with it is dumb, stupid and idiotic.
Whether anyone likes it being said or not this nation is now in grave distress and it's going to be that way for the next four years at least or as long as the Dems stay in power.
And, BTW I do have a US flag in my bedroom and it's flying upside down and it's gonna stay that way until our side gets back in power.
Don't like it? TOUGH!!!!!!! I don't appove of Hussien's policies or visions for this country.
Regards.....
