Murtha got re-elected. Pelosi got re-elected in a landslide. Sorry, I don't think they have any fear of not being re-elected no matter what they do.
Honestly, if someone like Murtha can say and do the things he did and get re-elected then where is the fear?
The fear is from the wrath of the PA voter, but PA people are satisfied as long as government programs flow uninterrupted.
