I thought the term used in a democracy was to govern!
They better watch it!
The only “ruler” that ever got me to pay any attention was the one wielded by Sister Mary Immaculata of the Holy Tree of Jerusalem (Order of the School Sisters of the Burning Bush, All Lit Up.)
That particular ruler is also the reason that I type with only one hand.
