I never thought I would feel this way, but I agree with you.
Following your logic we don’t need a Special Forces, CIA/FBI/DIA either. Never heard of Clandestine operations? Most Americans don’t understand the level of things that the U.S. does to protect its citizenry. However the most important point in all of this is that our enemies are not aware of the things we do until idiots like Obama become President. In fact the Left loves to bludgeon the military and conservatives with these issues all the time using the FOIA and the ACLU.
Well all I can say is Mr. obama better be prepared to accept his responsiblity during the next terror attack on the citizens of this country... Not all change is good change and on that day... millions will be pining for the Bush years.

Long ago my father did some of the things you’re referring to, though back then the enemy was different. I’m aware of the need for covert operations. I just meant that as President Bush publicly announced that we were going to be doing this, it’s not a big security breach to admit, years later, that we have in fact been doing it—and doing it so successfully that there was never some disaster like Jimmy Carter’s miserable attempt at a covert operation.
Obama, who has no military experience or diplomatic experience, is going to make a complete hash of things. Neither he nor his minions have any respect or understanding for the military or the intelligence services. Since his primary mission is to undercut this country in any way he can, he will cause enormous damage. Leaks are the least of it; he’ll run the agencies and people who protect us into the ground.
Agreed. If you remember during the debates when Obambi said he would approve missions into Pakistan to get Bin Laden with or without the Pakistani govt approval.... That by the way sounds like a Neo Conservative position but my point is... McCains response was “HUSH!...you don’t say that out loud”...He took Bambi to the wood shed but... you know the media doesn’t care..and neither does half the brain dead population. They got their Brittany spears candidate but now unfortunately Obama has the tiger by the tail....
