I would be thrilled if the Affirmative Action President turned out to be Jimmy Carter's economic and military twin, even with Jimmy's phenomenal weakness in both areas. That would still be far better than I expect from The One. And if you throw in Jimmy's ethics (which really were excellent), I'd call that a far greater miracle than we deserve after allowing the election to follow the path it did.
