I have been a Republican all my life. And you would have a hard time getting to the right of me on the issues.
Yet, now, FR has allowed me to look into the minds and hearts of a lot of other Republicans. Some of them are admirable. But quite frankly, some of them disgust me. Some of them are so warped and self righteous in their evaluation of other people, and some of them are so quick to see evil when there isn't any.
To have to depend on such motley troupes in the fight for freedom, God help us.

Amen, bb. Where can us Mormon conservatives find a home? There is a core in the Republican party that wants our money and our votes and our work, but doesn’t consider one of us fit for the presidency simply because of our religion. They count on our love for our country keeping us working alongside them, despite their constant slander of us.
