State wide news ,friday 07 Nov, Cabinet positions have been offered and turned cown by Senators Snowe and Collins. According to this news story, Collins was offered Dept of Homeland Security.
It will be awesome to watch the Democrats do that, to see McCain try to reform the Gang of 14 to compromise, and to see McCain get his butt kicked by his former "friends" over it.
Maybe he'll finally realized how used he was by his friends.

Since they’re RINOs, and seldom vote with their own party, I’m not sure losing them to the Sublime Porte would be a loss.
Nebraska has a Republican governor. He needs a state with one or two Republican Senators, and a 'Rat governor to appoint the replacement. Furthermore the Republican Senator must be a RINO. Not that those are hard to find in the Senate, but if the two from Maine won't bite, it's unlikely others would either.
Stopping the filibuster threat only requires a Senate rule change. If they can’t get enough for a filibuster proof Senate from the election they will simply change the rule. Snowe and Collins will probably vote with them anyway.
Yup, They might just start impeaching Pubbie senators and mabye even a couple Supremes!!!

(No medical reports available, hmmm???)
How did you happen to find this?
We have to save Martinez’s seat first.
If somehow Bill Nelson was appointed somewhere it would leave an open seat ......... I am not holding my breath.
If either Snowe or Collins took a cabinet position, it would be only a matter of months before some drummed up reason would be created to force them to resign and they would be replaced with some leftist.
O must believe Republicans are fools and he has good reason to think that.
