I think the GOP should not attack Sarah, but I fear the damage is done. I love Sarah, but she will not be a candidate in 2012 in my opinion. The way the Repub primaries are run, an establishment GOP candidate will get the nod-Romney,Giuliani-someone like that. Given the current primary system which foisted McCain on us this year and Bob Dole a few years ago, we have not hope-assuming Sarah could rise above the negatives brought upon by attacks by media and fellow Republicans. The primaries are rigged to allow Rino’s in California, New York and Florida pick our candidate.

Wrong!
# 1. The GOP is not attacking Gov Palin. Some McCain staffers allegedly are, and even that has been denied by McCain chief of staff just yesterday.
# 2. Despite all the vicious, nasty MSM/Obambi attacks, Gov Palin garnered more enthusiastic crowds on campiagn stops than anyone did, including Obambi, and higher TV ratings for her RNC speech, and VP debate than Obambi did. Monday when she appears on Greta, Greta will have her highest ratings for the year.

Doesn't much sound like a damaged gods to me. She is more popular than ever.

I bet she is.

After the horrible performance by Mccain, you can bet an establishment GOP candidate will NOT get the nod in 2012.

Gov Plain is pretty popular in New York actually. I was in Manhattan when she came here for the UN meeting. Even in liberal New York, there were crowds cheering her on... and her husband was on the front page of the New York Post when he took their baby to the ride at Central Park. And this was in liberal New York City. We haven't even mentioned upstate New York which is quite conservative. There are more conservatives in New York State than you think. Don't underestimate the lady.

She has been given the Dan Quail treatment.

I think her best shot of beating that media driven image is to get out in front on the conservative side of some issue.

The issue that makes the most sense is energy. She knows the oil industry from the government side, believes in production and Obama has already pledged not drill.

She needs to get a few advisors together, come up with an energy plan for America, and get on TV. The American people need somebody on their side of this issue.
