Oh, the dealers are making price cuts.
But it's hard-to-near-impossible to get people to return
to GM (and Ford and Chrysler) after they got burned by the last
one they'll ever own.
And they've spent the time since that last GM/Ford/Mopar
driving around in a reliable, affordable Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, etc.

At least in my local area of Mid-Missouri (Columbia, MO), the
dealers seem to bucking that trend.
I think they're offering discounts in the thousands of dollars,
even something like up to $4,000 off on full-sized trucks.
I think I saw the local Cadillac dealer saying that after all
incentives, a Cadillac stickered around $50,000 would get nearly
$5,000 off (roughly 10% off).
