In 1863, Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves. In 1933, Franklin Roosevelt repurchased them.

The pattern I see emerging is that the West, (Reagan) worked to free millions. Further millions were freed (Bush father and son.) Along comes the soup kitchen organizer and throws them all back.
