Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation's 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.
"Yes We Can" planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald's restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama's honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.
At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald's, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th.

I am too, I got angry at a friend from Indiana last night. She is a Rep. and was never voting for such a liberal.
Then she found out about free stuff she would be getting ( good luck with that I told her)....and voted for Obama. Needless to say, I ended the conversation. I don’t have time for idiots.
The media is already talking “Camelot”. They gloated and fawned over the “First Family” and the “Fashion Statement” that Michelle Obama brings back into popularity again. “Perhaps even more so than Jackie Kennedy!”. At that point, I about twisted the dial off the radio to turn the volume down.
They will not say one bad thing about Obama. Count on it. No matter what happens.
Post your Obama cake recipes, full of fruits and nuts and only half-baked.

At this breakneck pace, it will soon be inflated to an "Obama Month" by 2013 (and here I had thought only the French would ever have a month-long holiday.)

I’m still in shock. But what these idiots don’t realise is, wait until he takes office. It will be like a sudden Ice Age has hit this economy. Investors are already scrambling at the thought of 28% capital gains taxes off the top, no hope for recovery or tax shelters to stick them in.
They won’t stop at ending 401-K exemptions either. They will keep on going by taxing annuities every year.

When I explained the Obama tax plan to him, he just said he would spread the wealth around the family, (his new silent partners), so his business income wouldn't reach 250K. I informed him the 250K is a bunch of crap. It's down to 120K, and it will be revised downward by the time Obama gets sworn in. Fools...
