Anyone would think we had just elected a hip, skinny and youthful replacement for God, with a plan to modernise Heaven and Hell – or that at the very least John Lennon had come back from the dead.
The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship – its nearest equivalent – is focused on a man who actually did something.
I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.
It already has all the signs of such a thing. The newspapers which recorded Obama’s victory have become valuable relics. You may buy Obama picture books and Obama calendars and if there isn’t yet a children’s picture version of his story, there soon will be.
Proper books, recording his sordid associates, his cowardly voting record, his astonishingly militant commitment to unrestricted abortion and his blundering trip to Africa, are little-read and hard to find.
If you can believe that this undistinguished and conventionally Left-wing machine politician is a sort of secular saviour, then you can believe anything. He plainly doesn’t believe it himself. His cliche-stuffed, PC clunker of an acceptance speech suffered badly from nerves. It was what you would expect from someone who knew he’d promised too much and that from now on the easy bit was over.

Well you can’t say goodbye since all of the Euro Socialists and second class powers like Mexico and third world sh*t holes in Africa and South American including China and Russia actually enforce their immigration laws unlike us. I think that is the one where he was campaigning for Raila Odinga, the radical Muslim guy from Kenya. His followers burned something like a hundred Christians alive in a church.
Oh yes......you know the sad truth is that the man is so incompetant, and his scandals so numerous, that I can’t keep track of it all.
This is by far the best article I have ever read on Obama. I think the second best came from the UK as well. I suppose it makes sense because the American media is part of the cult.

The sad part is that most American’s couldn’t care less what he has done, or what he hasn’t done. They have abandoned all sense of morality and decency in place of voting for their own vanity.
You know, it does seem like a perfect election if you read Revelations... Scary though...

I don’t get it. I have known a guy in the UK for about 6 years now. He was so happy that Obama made it. I said i wish I shared your enthusiasm.he said, there ya go again, just thinking of yourself, this guy is gonna be good for the whole world not just the united states.
I am thinking that the people in the UK didn’t get the message about Ayres, Wright, Odinga, Farakahan, his nationality, support from the radical Muslim communities, code pink advocating the killing of Americans.
Yet this pops up, what gives???
I predict the British press will be the first ones to jump the shark on Obama. Britian does not want to be the sole defender of Europe and when it becomes clear just how inexperienced, vacillating and naive Obama is, they’ll be worried.
