I saw the following advertised during the Mizzou/Kansas State game:

http://www.cityyear.org/home.aspx

It was a bunch of young people in red coats zipping them up at the same time. I thought to myself, “it’s already starting?” Here’s a video of them in action:

This may not be the organization that BO has in mind, but his website MANDATED 50 hours of community service a year for middle and high school students, and 100 hours for college students.

Now, due to criticism, the website merely states a “goal that all middle and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year, and will establish a new tax credit that is worth $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.”

The college requirement has been dropped.

[I saw the following advertised during the Mizzou/Kansas State game]

Obama will soon do to the USA what Ron Prince did to KSU football. It only took him 3 yrs. to run into the ground the football program Bill Snyder spent over a decade building from the ground up. Prince is a perfect illustration of what an affirmative action hire, with no relevant experience and no record of accomplishment, will get you. Prince could talk the talk but not walk the walk. Sound like Obama? KSU made a huge mistake in hiring Prince and are now being attacked by the press for firing him. I never understood why we hired the guy in the first place. I’ll be saying the same thing when everyone starts whining about Obama.
