Transition advisers to President-elect Barack Obama have compiled a list of about 200 Bush administration actions and executive orders that could be swiftly undone to reverse White House policies on climate change, stem cell research, reproductive rights and other issues, according to congressional Democrats, campaign aides and experts working with the transition team. A team of four dozen advisers, working for months in virtual solitude, set out to identify regulatory and policy changes Obama could implement soon after his inauguration. The team is now consulting with liberal advocacy groups, Capitol Hill staffers and potential agency chiefs to prioritize those they regard as the most onerous or ideologically offensive, said a top transition official who was not permitted to speak on the record about the inner workings of the transition.

Sadly, elections have consequences. We do this to the children, and then we have the audacity to call out, “Why me, Lord?”
some change!
canceling Bush policies and reverting to Clinton’s.
I bet it won’t be long before they declare that water boarding is okay for people like us, just not the enemy.
I love our great country, and I don't want anyone to suffer.
But it's inevitable. Socialism is a horrendously expensive way to make everyone poor. We are already heavily indebted, and the Kenyan Clown is going to spend money like water. Taxes are going to rise a lot, and the new administration will likely cause at least Carter-level inflation.
I shake my head at all of the "pundits" that I keep hearing bleat on about "governing from the center."
The Kenyan Clown has always be a far left-winger, and he has no intention of changing his entire lifetime's orientation. He plans to institute as much left-wing nonsense as quickly as possible.
I am afraid Doug Kmiec and the many other “prolife Christians” that supported Obama publicly, and with their vote, will have to answer to their Creator for the many more babies’ deaths that will result from Obama’s election and policies.
Indeed the money line here. I am baffled by the morons who think we are on the verge of seeing his term replicate his campaign rhetoric. That is complete blasphemy. The ignorance of the electorate is about to get what they have ordered, Socialism on steroids. This guy is a maniac and not what they MSM or the masses have portrayed.
Things are going to get alot worse economically in a short period of time. He will say he intends to focus on the economy but, that is smoke and mirrors for the sheeple who support him.
We can insure he is a single termer(shorter would be preferred) by getting out there now and opposing everything he does that is not in keeping with conservative values and beliefs.
Kenyan Clown is quite fitting and works well into my new tagline....
You know they are saying stuff like “let’s start with the easier issues first, then throw in the abortion issue and paint them all like crazy people, then throw in a few more light issues and then hit them with a boom and by that time the dissenting fillibustering crowd will shut up”
“That one” comes to steal and to kill.
literally heartbreaking. I cannot stop crying.
by by border fence.
I bet illegal border crossings have skyrocketed.
Where are the lawyers on our side?
Dictatorship by bureaucratic decree, just like the soviet union.
We can find reference to that in our Declaration of Independence.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
For the same reason they call their opponents anti-choice, to make their side look good and their opponents look bad.
But completely predictable.
Months ago I was still arguing with some “pro-life” posters here on FR who claimed they didn’t care who McCain was running against, they would “never” vote for him.
Some even still hide behind the excuse that “it’s not my fault that the GOP/RNC/MSM/Whatever didn’t give me a nominee I like.”
Every time I see the predictable result of DEATH facilitated by the refusal to vote to defeat Obama by voting for the other guy, my blood boils at such “pro-lifers.”
Pardon me that I’m still angry.
For anyone listening to the predictable Obama message of death, I hope the lesson eventually sticks.
Yes, that's a certainty. I would assume from the Kenyan Clown's remarks in Field & Stream that he will go much further than even President Clinton in declaring our natural resources off-bounds to development:
LICATA: In your career, what is the conservation legislation that you're most proud of?SENATOR OBAMA: Well, I sat in the Environment and Public Works Committee and had a range of legislation come before me. Probably the thing that I'm most proud of is fighting off some of the efforts to diminish the Clean Air Act. That was a tough set of votes for me because I come from a coal state. But some of the regulations that were put in place I think would have had a long-term effect on our efforts to preserve our public lands, and our private lands, as well. When I was in the state legislature, I was a cosponsor of the Wetlands Protection Act there. I worked extensively in efforts to create smart growth strategies so that you didn't have subdivisions and development constantly spreading out...working with others to try to encourage land trusts and land preservation strategies, I think that's an area that has been very fruitful. But my overarching philosophy is that we have to be good stewards of the land, and we've got to think in terms of sustainability. We're going to have some development. I mean, there's going to be drilling. (Source: Field & Stream.)
Why stop there? Go ahead and put us in the World Court, so that every CNN International watching country can stone us.
Soon to be known as “Failed Policies of the Obama administration.”
