TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iran's parliament speaker has criticized U.S. President-elect Barack Obama for saying that Iran's development of a nuclear weapon is unacceptable.
Ali Larijani said Saturday that Obama should apply his campaign message of change to U.S. dealings with Iran.
"Obama must know that the change that he talks about is not simply a superficial changing of colors or tactics," Larijani said in comments carried by the semi-official Mehr News Agency.
"What is expected is a change in strategy, not the repetition of objections to Iran's nuclear program, which will be taking a step in the wrong direction."

From the trascript of Mr. Obama's news conference Friday:
Reporter: ...And how soon do you plan on sending low-level envoys to countries such as Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, to see if a presidential-level talk would be productive?
Obama: ...Iran's development of a nuclear weapon I believe is unacceptable. And we have to mount a international effort to prevent that from happening.
Iran's support of terrorist organizations I think is something that has to cease.
Obama said nothing in response to the question about "a presidential-level talk". And not a peep from the "anti-war" moonbats.

“And we have to mount a international effort to prevent that from happening.”
I guess he hasn’t kept up on current events.
Been there, done that, didn’t work.
Iran will have the bomb, if it hasn’t gotten it already.
Israel is the last hope.
Obama will do nothing to stop them but talk and ask the UN for permission to use harsh language.

Why am I picturing Master Po speaking to David Carradine saying, 'no...you got it wrong grasshopper! You must not stand in the way of our goals of world domination!'

.Iran's development of a nuclear weapon I believe is unacceptable.A very weak statement. Sounds like he could easily be convinced otherwise.
