This annoys me to no end. I can understand an American trying to perfect their accent when they are speaking to a foreigner overseas (if only to be more clearly understood, but the reverse should be true.

Remember this comes from supporters of the President elect, who doesn't have an accent problem.

You or I may speak multiple languages with gringo/ugly Amreican accents, but our President elect doesn't.

Because he doesn't speak any languages other the English. Even when he goes to France.
