"Could I get someone over here? This Perrier is flat."
What’s the matter with Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton? Why should Kerry have all the perks?
My guess is that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will be too busy with the Reparations Committee to have time to help out with Iran and North Korea.
For those who missed it back in late July:

CHICAGO » Sen. Barack Obama, speaking to a gathering of minority journalists yesterday, stopped short of endorsing an official U.S. apology to American Indians but said the country should acknowledge its history of poor treatment of certain ethnic groups.
"There's no doubt that when it comes to our treatment of Native Americans as well as other persons of color in this country, we've got some very sad and difficult things to account for," Obama told hundreds of attendees of UNITY '08, a convention of four minority journalism associations.
The Hawaii-born senator, who has told local reporters that he supports the federal recognition bill for native Hawaiians drafted by U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka, noted other ethnic groups but did not mention native Hawaiians when answering a question about his thoughts on a formal U.S. apology to American Indians.
"I personally would want to see our tragic history, or the tragic elements of our history, acknowledged," the Democratic presidential hopeful said.
"I consistently believe that when it comes to whether it's Native Americans or African-American issues or reparations, the most important thing for the U.S. government to do is not just offer words, but offer deeds."
Obama, who appeared tired in his first major appearance since returning Saturday from a 10-day trip abroad, met with a receptive audience at the Chicago convention. Some journalists had waited three hours for the 40-minute appearance. (Source: Honolulu Star-Bulletin)
That story, by the way, ends with a vivid description of the utter sycophantish reception that the Kenyan Clown received at this event, which charged $2,300 per press participant.
The more things “change” the more they stay the same (actually become deja vu all over again). LOL 0be’s bringing less change to DC than W tried to do.
I'm holding out for Joe Wilson.
No, but they'll find out. They will get their punishment. Conservatives are politically a generation ahead of liberals. They are still filled with starry-eyed 'hope' and 'change.' We know better, because we already know what it feels like to be conned and mugged.
It's time we stopped worrying about them--they are a lost cause--and concentrate instead on taking care of our own family and affairs.
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. Proverbs 22:3
Can you spell D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R! Like the Titanic.
Both are poor choices.
Kerry is a perfect choice for Obama. If you want a SOS to communicate to the world tha everything is America’s fault and to our enemies that we will not stand up to them, I can think of nobody better suited than John Kerry.
If he does choose Kerry, the contrast between him and Emmanuel will reveal a great deal about Obama’s plans. Weakness and appeasement towards America’s foreign enemies and toughness and no compromise when dealing with the Obamessiah’s domestic, political opponents.
“Bill Richardson will get the Top Job at State.”
Whatever could you possibly be thinking ??? In this era of Hollywood casting for government service, it would have to be Kerry... he LOOKS the part. Richardson and Holbrooke just don’t cut it.
