Mitt Romney would have broken Barack Obama like a cheap toy.

Despite the image problems facing the Republican Party, the former Massachusetts Governor would have conquered Obama without breaking a sweat. In a time of economic turmoil, voters would have turned to Romney to steer the country through choppy fiscal waters.

Romney was the thinking man’s choice for the GOP nomination. A success in both the business and political worlds, Romney presented the best opportunity to revive the Reagan vision in years. Like Obama, Romney was a handsome, well-spoken, highly intelligent figure who held out hope for a positive future.

It’s a deep shame that Romney couldn’t seal the deal in the GOP primaries. His exit from the race was a harsh blow to the Republican Party and to the country itself. Today, conservatives are questioning whether Obama will govern from the center or from the hard left. Had Romney been the GOP nominee, no one would have had an opportunity to ask that question.

Romney was a dynamic, visionary leader in the private and public sectors, a big-picture thinker and a committed conservative. As President, he would have stimulated the economy, reinforced the country’s security bulwarks and advanced the goals of those who believe in a culture of life. In addition to maintaining the support of the GOP base, he would have easily attracted moderates and independents, thus denying Obama the Presidency.

Remember Romney’s soul-stirring speech on faith and his peerless performances in the GOP primary debates? Imagine how Romney would have performed against Obama in the Presidential debates. He would have disciplined Obama, pointing out the inherent foolishness of his economic positions and ridiculing his liberal vision of the federal judiciary. Obama would have felt like he came out on the bad end of a Chicago street fight.

A wheel of brie would have made a better President than Obama and the country will pay dearly as a result of its bigotry towards cheese.

Slick Willard had the most money and best organization in the primary. Yet he lost to cash poor candidates of Huckabee and McCain. No amount of marketing can convince people buy a crappy product. The fact that Slick Willard couldn’t win the GOP primary with his huge money advantage is proof that he is crappy candidate. His negatives are on par with Hillary Clinton’s.

Myth Romney: "You will embrace this attack on Gov. Palin
and her little children and baby using 20% of our junior staff. Use Jindal's, McCain's and Huckabee's names
like our attacks on McCain and Thompson using Huckabee's name.
Make her look stupider than a first grader - contrast that to me. Make her family look ugly - contrast that to mine.
Create, then support, the attack on Palin from our lands and Belmont sanctuary mansion in
the north using the fake law enforcement badges we fabricated and enjoy.
I will gain GOP favor by condemning the attack and
ordering it opposed from our lands in the south, in the Hive, and some at Fox News and Newsweek. Whichever way
the tide runs, we will rise. "

Please. McCain was by FAR the worst candidate we could have fielded. Romney knows the economy, while Mr. “the fundamentals of the economy are strong” publically admitted he knows diddly-squat about the economy. No wonder the ticket fell apart so dramatically, the loss was so decisive.

McCain was resurrected from the dead because Charlie Crist decided to back him in Florida. Had Crist backed Romney the primaries would have been over there and then. As it was McCain was able to erase his poor showing in the 5 previous states because Florida holds more weight than those states combined.

Crist is an idiot, because he presented us with the worst candidate we ever had, a true RINO, voted TWICE against Bush’s tax cut, not a good presenter and orator, often angry when it is unwarranted. Dole was a better candidate, so were both Bushes.

Incredible that the McCain fans here don’t realize the damage that this election has done for the party, and it could well be lasting.

Election 2008 was LOST because of Mitt ROmney attacking the VP Candidate mercilessly.

ROmney played his "Mountain Massacre 2008" Card.

And no, ROmney is not an economic genius. He is a dud. A loser. A fascist socialist.

Fascist Dictator Mitt Romney chortles after inflicting Gay Marriage and here socialized medicine upon Massachusetts without a single vote (except his).

Romney wiped out Massachusetts.

The five states with least favorable business climates are Califorinia (lowest ranking), New York, Michigan, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Romney was rated a "C" overall by Cato, also because he betrayed President Bush. Here are the facts.

As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal.

I'm a big Romney supporter. I gave $2300 to his primary campaign. But I have to say, I'm not sure even he could have overcome the anti-bush, pro-change tsunami that swept Obama into office.

In some ways, I am glad he did not get the nomination this time. He's now first in line to get it in 2012, when his chances of winning the general will likely be a lot better. We'll see, though. A lot can happen between now and then.

Unnamed sources within the McCain camp were doing this, not Mitt Romney.

None of the 2008 primary contenders did nearly as much as Romney to help the McCain campaign. But your irrational hatred blinds to the truth.

Sad.

Bzzzzzzzzt. Wrong. There have already been identified
RomneyBOTs connected with the Palin attacks.

THIS WAS JUST BEFORE THE ELECTION.

What is sad is that you approve of this destruction of the GOP and the conservative movement by Romney.

Myth Romney: "You will embrace this attack on Gov. Palin,
her little children and her baby, using only 20% of our junior staff.
Leak the attacks calling her stupid using Jindal's, McCain's and Huckabee's names
exactly like our attacks on McCain and Thompson using Huckabee's name during the Primaries.
Make Gov. Palin look stupider than a first grader - and contrast that to me.
Make Gov.Palin's family look ugly - and contrast that to mine.
Create, then support, the attack on Palin from our northern lands in the Belmont sanctuary mansion
using the same fake law enforcement badges and ploys which we fabricated and still enjoy.
I will gain GOP favor by condemning the attack and
ordering it opposed from our lands in the south, in the Hive and through Fox News and Newsweek.
Whichever way the tide runs, we will rise. "

Okay, you just keep going there fingering the phantom "Romneybots" who don't exist.

It's really sad how much the hatred of a single man can make a person like you so deranged.

I'm a big Romney supporter. I gave $2300 to his primary campaign.

I guess you don't consider yourself conservative because Romeny did the following:

Romney worked for and signed gay marriage.

Romney worked for and signed gov't healthcare.

Romney urged the Boy Scouts to allow homosexual scout masters to serve among their ranks.

Romney essentially locked-out the Boy Scouts from the Salt Lake Olympics.

They are all true and supported from multiple sources and direct quotes.

I'm sorry to disparage someone you obviously like, but the truth is the truth.

Nope. They are lies and smears dreamed up by people with an irrational hatred of Mitt. I've investigated them all.

Grow and stop lying -- if you can.

Romney installed gay marriage in Massachusetts by
ignoring the Mass. Constitution (the country's oldest)

Romnney installed HillaryCARE=RomneyCARE, ie
socialized medicine without a vote.

ROmney awarded himself a awards (and lied about). Ok to you?

How long have you been a servant to Myth Romney, anyway?

You are the one who's lying.

And FYI, repeating lies again and again does not make them true.
