5. Obama’s attempts at humor today...his quip about Nancy Reagan...his calling himself and dogs mutts (instead of what they are which is mixed breed)...both fell flat and were very insensitive. Obama can only be sensitive about himself. Sociopaths do not truly feel for others.
6. Overall, the pot shot drive by humor at other’s expense, the weird snarky laughs and the avoidance of fully answering questions all in combined to make this debut press conference fall flat. You could see how Obama’s charm could wear thin after a few more of these.
7. Don't look for a long honeymoon. Next summer should be fun.
However, the press reported on his calm and cool demeanor and credited him with appearing presidential at today’s presser. All he really needs to do is not show emotion at all and he is “Presidential.”
A person filled with hate should never attempt humor in front of an audience.
