Anchorage, Alaska (AP) -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is striking back at critics of the high-priced wardrobe she wore as the Republican vice presidential candidate.
As she returned to the governor's office in Anchorage on Friday, Palin said all she ever asked for was "a Diet Dr. Pepper once in a while."
Palin says the expensive outfits were purchased by the Republican National Committee and they belong to the committee.
She called her critics cowardly for speaking to reporters about her anonymously.

Where is the Sarah 4 President 2012 website? When you google Sarah Palin President, several satire sites come up. There isn't a central web domain to get this grass roots 2012 Presidential run going. We need to be more web savy this go round.

The comments that are being sold as leaks from staffers are qualitatively a match for the comments made by the Demo party and their minions in the first week of her joining the campaign.

I’ll readily admit that I know nothing of high fashion prices — Mrs. Branch is quite content to burn up the registers at Talbot’s.
But like so much of the reporting about Palin, I find it very hard to believe 150K was spent on clothing for the Palins, even if it was for the whole family.
Do suits at Neiman cost $5,000 or some such outrageous number? What is the source of this 150K number?
