I cannot remember any time other than Jack Kennedy clowning around about Jacki’s clothing bills, a President taking a cheap shot at a former first lady.
It’s petty and crappy. Bad form.

I watched that live, it was a stream of consciousness thing I’m quite certain. Here’s why.
When the president-elect said that, a light went off in my head “but has he talked to any _dead_ presidents.. ha ha..” Because after all this is his first press-conference.
Then, he segued right into that, which perhaps wasn’t taken by others as well as it might have been. But yeah, a lot of Press was just gushing. I don’t watch much TV or programming so don’t keep up much on that kind of thing, but it looks bad.
What else would anyone expect from an incompetent jackass?
